About Us
We represent students at the University of Texas at Austin who were sad to learn that Metz Elementary School is closing after 105 years of helping young kids unlock their full potential. We also, however, recognize the immense historical value that the school can still provide to Austin and we wish to celebrate you and your history. Led by our professor, Dr. Elon Lang, we have been working with members of the Metz community over the past few months to help archive books, artwork, and other artifacts that are representative of the school and the people involved in it.
Nosotros representamos a los estudiantes de la Universidad de Texas en Austin que se entristecieron al conocer sobre el cierre de la Primaria Metz después de haber ayudado a sus estudiantes a lograr su completa potencial durante 105 años. Pero igual y reconocemos el valor histórico que esta comunidad proporciona a Austin, y deseamos celebrarlo a usted y su historia.
