This mural was part of the Aztec/Cobra mural exchange. The students at Sanchez Elementary painted this as a gift for Metz. The mural depicts three students reading, a globe, a dove, and the two schools mascots, an Aztec and a Cobra.
A binder compiled by Don Bos, containing a paper and notes surrounding the history of bilingual education at Metz, specifically pertaining to the acquisition of bilingual and Spanish books.
All tiles are painted, most likely with acrylic craft paint (based on the quality of the color saturation and texture of the brush strokes)
After preliminary research, the average dimensions of standard grid ceiling tiles are 24”x 48”
